A rather wet and miserable day for today’s site meeting. Fortunately, the building is essentially watertight now with roof covering, temporary glazing and doors in place. Roof tiling will be completed shortly.

Lakeland Family Service is extremely proud of 6 young people who have recently completed their Silver Duke of Edinburgh Award. The young people (Jordan Watson, Ciaran McGovern, Kirsty Hoey, Aoife McGerty and Chloe Monaghan) are all supported by the Service, and Niamh White is a young volunteer with the Service.

It was a beautiful sunny but cold day at our third site meeting today. There has been some delay due to the wet weather, but good progress has been made and we are now up to roof height on parts of the building.
