To mark Volunteers’ Week, we’ll be showcasing the people who have given up their valuable spare time to improve the lives of others. All of them are heroes in their own way.
Our second volunteering hero of the week is Katie Murphy, who helps out in our Lakeland Family Support Service.
Katie volunteers in our support schemes for young people at holiday times (Christmas, summer, and other school breaks), as well as at our sibling group once a month.
Katie is dependable, approachable, and generous with her time. We are so grateful to have her as a member of the team.
