Teresa, Claire and Rachel from our Mid Ulster Supported Living Service positively shone on stage when they starred as The Pink Ladies in Grease at the Bardic Theatre in Donaghmore.
They had a busy schedule for the All Stars Drama Group production, including weekly rehearsals.
The winter weather might not have lent itself to Summer Nights, but that didn’t stop the trio being Hopelessly Devoted to their roles. As they learned their songs and dance routines, Teresa, Claire and Rachel made friends with other members of the local community. Their dedication, together with the support of their Positive Futures staff, ensured that they were pitch perfect for opening night.
On show night they donned their outfits, had their hair and makeup done and transformed into The Pink Ladies. Teresa rocked out on air guitar, Rachel danced and hit her lines on cue and Clare delivered a solo performance that would have made Olivia Newton–John proud.
The experience was so successful that they are already working towards their next musical production – Mamma Mia!
