The wacky fundraising antics of our Managing Director, Paul Roberts, will help make a real difference to a group of young adults in Fermanagh.
Paul’s Elfy Living challenge, during which he dressed as an elf for a week in the run–up to Christmas, raised more than £2,000. Now, he has handed the proceeds over to the Transitioning Group in our Lakeland Services, which is helping 18–20 year–olds make the move from being supported within their family to adult supported living.
The Project Co–ordinator, Tracey Armstrong, said: “With the input of two adult mentors, the aim is to learn new skills and improve the skills the young adults already have to enable them to become more independent.
“We’ve just finished a successful three–month gardening course and are about to start a cookery course, which will concentrate on health, wellbeing and healthy eating.”

There’s nothing like a little elf from one’s friends!
