Join the best team in the business

At Positive Futures, we know we’re the best – best for the people we support, and best for our staff.

We’re now offering our Support Workers a sector–beating salary of £20,500 per year (full–time equivalent, 39 hours), together with 28–33 days’ annual leave, enhanced sick pay, maternity and paternity pay, and double time over Christmas and New Year.

In addition, you could enjoy a welcome bonus of up to £300 (paid when confirmed in post).

Other features of our great benefits package include:–

We’ll pay your initial NISCC registration fee and give you a comprehensive paid induction with opportunities for further development and training.

Add to that our contributory pension and a workplace savings and loan scheme, and we don’t think you’ll find a better offer anywhere else.

We’re not even looking for previous experience. Your personality and passion for what we do are more important.

Come and share the benefits!

We promise to be the best employer we can be – listening to our staff, being flexible and doing our best to fit in with your family commitments.

What type of person are we looking for?

We’re looking for people with patience and a caring disposition who don’t mind a challenge. We’re looking for someone who finds reasons why something can be done, rather than reasons why it can’t.

If you’re currently in a different career, don’t let that put you off. Some of our staff have had previous roles as firefighters, police officers, retail workers and transport workers. What they have in common is that they wanted to make a real difference to people’s lives while enjoying a high degree of job satisfaction. If you feel the same way, and have some experience of caring for someone (even in an unpaid capacity), then Positive Futures could be the place for you.

Our Advisory Board, which is made up of people we support, have told us what makes a good support worker. Find out what they say
