James Ratcliffe

James Ratcliffe has lived in Belfast with his parents Kathleen and Clive since he was 16. He has severe autism and no verbal communication. James and his parents are supported by our Adult Placement Service and he stays regularly at our Short Break Service. Since this story was recorded, Kathleen has sadly passed away.

Brian Beattie

Brian Beattie lived in Bangor and was supported by our East Coast Supported Living Service. He came to Positive Futures from Muckamore Abbey Hospital with his brother Bruce. Brian sadly passed away on 28 January 2014. Bruce died in November 2012. Bruce and Brian were an important part of the life of the East Coast Service and we are happy to be able to remember Brian with a smile when we listen to this recording.
