Learning from staff feedback is essential for Positive Futures continued development as a Learning Organisation. The staff survey gives all staff an opportunity to provide the organisation with valuable feedback on a range of work related topics. For the first time statements relating specifically to staff “engagement” were included in the Staff Survey.

The Regulation and Quality Inspection Authority (RQIA) is the independant body responsible for monitoring and inspecting the quality of health and social care services in Northern Ireland, and encouraging improvements in the quality of these services. This Report documents the findings of a comprehensive consultation exercise carried out by our Business Excellence Department with key stakeholders. This consultation acts as an internal quality audit of our services, the findings of which are used to develop Quality Action Plans for each Business Unit within our Organisation.

This was the first Volunteer Satisfaction Survey carried out in Positive Futures. This survey aimed to gain a greater understanding of Volunteer's perceptions, which in turn will be used to inform the strategic direction of Positive Futures. The findings of the survey are detailed in the report attached.

Our Business Excellence Department carried out Positive Futures' first Staff Satisfaction Survey between March - April 2010. The aim was to engage staff via the anonymous collation of their views in an effort to identify strengths and areas for improvement within Positive Futures. The findings of the survey are detailed in the report attached.

Careful Plans is a Positive Futures study of the aspirations and self identified needs of all older carers of a person with a learning disability, known to the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust, living in the Lisburn Sector.
